Testimonials

I had decided to attempt running a 50k trail event and at that time I was only averaging about 10 miles per week. I signed up for coaching with Ben Power and he set me up with structured training runs and guidance that enabled me to eventually  increase my distance and speed and was then hitting 40+ miles without injuries! I surpassed my time goal and finished my 50k event strong! His knowledge and experience as an Ultra runner highly contributed to that!

I’ve been a runner for most of my life. I run both road and trail and have have completed a lot of races in my lifetime. I love to run, but I never had a routine or a coach. I found myself over tired and sore from junk runs. Finally I decided to hire Ben Power from Power Running as my coach. As a seasoned runner, I was skeptical, but after a couple of weeks of being coached I started to see real results. I felt stronger and less fatigued, my pace per mile is faster, and I run with more confidence. I love the results Ben has given me and I highly recommend him.

I just ran my first full marathon! At 64 years old those are words that I never thought I would say. But with Ben’s coaching and encouragement I not only ran it, I also finished under my goal time of 6 hours and without injury. I am not going to lie, it was hard. The training was rigorous and let’s face it, 26.2 miles is a long way. But never in my 6 months of training with Ben nor during the actual race did I doubt that I could do it. The daily workout plans and weekly check ins kept me on track. After each workout, I had an opportunity to share feedback via the app and Ben made adjustments to the plan according to my feedback. Yes,  at 64 years old, I just ran my first full marathon and Ben was there every step of the way to get me across the finish line.
